General Information The nearest chemist and doctor are in Supetar. There also several banks and other services, and some livelier late night venues and a variety of restaurants. Drivers should carry their license with them in the car and headlights must be turned on at all times. The law states a zero tolerance to alcohol and driving, and there are occasional raoadside speed and spot-checks, particularly during the summer season. The currency is the Kuna and there are about 10 kuna to the pound. The weather in the summer is Mediterranean but there is often a breeze in the afternoon so it is rarely stifling and of course good for sailing.
